The Treehouse Demolition

“You should not take a hacksaw up a ladder. Two dads were nine feet away and neither one turned round.”
The old treehouse has to come down, and a hacksaw seems like the right tool for the job. Up the ladder we go, saw in hand, while our dads are in the garden just a few feet away. They have no idea we're about to perform some very serious, very wobbly demolition work right over their heads.
“The branch creaked, the saw juddered, and the whole treehouse... shifted.”
From the back cover
Two dads, chatting away. Two boys, nine feet up a tree with a saw. What could possibly go wrong?
The treehouse has seen better days, and it is time for it to go. But waiting for grown-ups is boring. We decide to get the job started ourselves, very, very quietly.
As long as nobody looks up, nobody will ever know.
