The McDonald's Incident
Illustration in the queue. New spreads are drawn every week — join the list and you’ll see this one the day it’s inked.
“Chubb needed a wee. The McDonald's wall was there. The security camera was also there.”
At the retail park, Chubb is desperate for a wee. The queue for the McDonald's toilet is too long, so he slips out the back. He finds a nice, quiet wall and begins to relieve himself, just as we spot the little black dome of a security camera pointing right at his... oh.
“Chubb, don't look up... but I think you're on television.”
From the back cover
A trip to the McDonald's at the retail park takes a desperate turn. Chubb really, really needs the toilet, but the queue is a mile long. He decides to take matters into his own hands, and finds a quiet wall round the back.
He is halfway through when we see it: a sleek, modern security camera, and it is recording his every move. His parents would be mortified. Good job they are never, ever going to see that footage.
